Position Objectives
​This job will be primarily responsible for custodial duties for McDowell County Facilities, which may include the Courthouse and Administrative Offices.

Duties & Responsibilities
​​
Keeping buildings clean and orderly.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
Clean interior surfaces of buildings such as walls, ceilings, windows, etc.
Empty waste receptacles and dispose of refuse.
Dust and polish furniture.
Moving seating in rooms for special functions or meetings.
Perform outside duties such as washing windows, sweeping walks, and picking up trash.

Minimum Requirements

Effective Communication Skills
High School Diploma or GED
Valid NC Driver's License
